Father Antony Prince Panengaden named the bishop of Adilabad on August 6, 2015.Father Panengaden was born on March 13, 1976, at Arimpur, in the Archdiocese of Trichur.He studied Philosophy at Dharmaram VidyaKshetram, Bangalore (1998-2001) and graduated from the University of Calicut (2001-2003).He studied theology at Ruhalay Seminary, Ujjain (2003-2007). He was ordained Priest on April 25, 2007, for the Eparchy of Adilabad.He later obtained a Doctorate in Biblical Theology from Urbaniana University, Rome.He served the diocese as Assistant Parish Priest of the Cathedral Parish, priest-in-charge of Saligaon Mission Station. His episcopal ordination was on 29th October 2015.
